When cleaning the Sauna we suggest using a microfibre cloth with just water – meaning no chemicals are required. You can use warm water and natural soap to clean any stained areas or simply sand down with sandpaper to remove stains. If required, lightly sand the bench, floor and wood heater guards using 150 grit sandpaper. Just a light, quick sanding is all it needs.
If you would really like to use more than just water, my no means is this required but a few drops of a high quality essential oil in water (Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Arborvitae, Lavender, Lemon – your choice), 1T baking soda in 4 litres of water may be used sporadically.
Another little tip we recommend is a lemon myrtle natural air freshener.
Always ensure to place towels on the bench and backrest to protect the seat from sweat. We also suggest using a bathmat on the floor and a small dust buster to vacuum the floor and benches.
